Winter Gala

A Night of Fun and Glamour

The Navajo Hopi Health Foundation hosts an annual Winter Gala at the end of the year to raise money for TCRHCC’s ongoing healthcare needs and to celebrate our employees and their hard work throughout the year. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, we were forced to cancel our Winter 2020 gala. So, for 2021, we will be back with a gala to remember.

On December 7, 2019, the NHHF hosted its 6th Annual Winter Gala at Twin Arrows Casino Resort located east of Flagstaff on the Navajo Nation. The theme was “Midnight in Paris.” The semiformal gala included dinner, dancing until midnight, an auction items by many native artists and a basket themed raffle plus a door entrance raffle with fabulous prizes such as a big flat screen tv.
All proceeds from the Winter Gala supported TCRHCC’s healthcare projects.

There are many volunteers who make this event a success; they give up their lunch hour and their time after work to help, they use their creativity to decorate the dance hall and to make table centerpieces, we are grateful for each volunteer. Of course, our corporate sponsors are vital for this event to even occur. There are various levels of sponsorship and each are so important. Thank you to our many corporate sponsors, your generosity is this event provides for opportunities to improve our healthcare services on the Navajo Nation.

Your fully deductible donation will help TCRHCC’s mission to provide safe, accessible, quality, and culturally sensitive healthcare. You may donate anytime of the year.

The Navajo Hopi Health Foundation exists because of donations like yours.

2018 Madeleine Gross Family Scholarship Recipient

The Madeleine Gross Family Scholarship program started in 2017 and is administered by the Navajo Hopi Health Foundation. The $5,000 scholarship is awarded to a high school Senior from the Tuba City high schools. The students write an essay of overcoming a hardship in their lives and how their winning attitude prevailed as they focused on acquiring a college education. Thank you to the Madeleine Gross Family for encouraging our children to pursue college degrees by providing this scholarship opportunity.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 scholarship program was deferred. Instead, the administrator of the Madeleine Gross family elected to award all four former scholarship recipients; so, each student received $1,250 for their college school year. Best wishes to each student from the Navajo Hopi Health Foundation.
